It’s not only fun to have writing buddies, but being in the same room as other people who are writing can be very encouraging for the unmotivated writer. Yes, you might chat for some of the time, but it’ll probably be about writing, and even if you’re only there for an hour or so, you’re likely to get much more done than if you were at home by yourself. You never know: you might be inspired to finish a whole chapter when you do get home!

All Ely Writers are welcome to join us as we meet for delicious drinks and tasty treats alongside writing together.

Bring whatever project you’re currently working on and whatever you’re using to write it, whether it’s a laptop or old-fashioned pen and paper. We’ll meet from 1:00 PM onwards and stay as long as we each like (or until Grain Culture: Bake Shop – General Store closes, whichever comes first).
