Workshop: Place on the Page

Someone writing in a rural location.

Workshop: Place on the Page

Have you ever walked through a forest, or sat by a river, and wished you could capture the feeling, the experience of being there, on the page?

Are you already writing and need support and advice to get your words out there?

Join this free creative writing workshop for fun exercises to capture a sense of place, meet like-minded writers, and learn practical techniques for honing your words for publication.

Everyone is welcome, no matter what kind of writing you do, your skill level or experience, no matter whether you call yourself a writer or just like to play with words in your spare time. Writing can be a lonely activity, so we want to create a space for it within a wonderful network [of] like-minded people. We also want to provide support for you to get your words out into the world so others can see your creativity and insight.

As well as really practical tips, we will be offering a really exciting opportunity for publication at the end of the workshop [emphasis added].
